Our Approach
In my many years as a Physiotherapist, I’ve always known there is more to health than meets the eye. Our emotions, thoughts, and stress levels directly affect our physical health. This is where regulating our nervous system becomes key—the nervous system controls everything in our bodies, and when it’s out of balance, it can manifest as chronic pain, stress, emotional turmoil, and illness.
My approach combines Functional Neuro Health, bodywork, and counselling to help restore balance and harmony within the nervous system. By focusing on nervous system regulation, we can reduce the negative impact of stress on your body and promote deep, lasting results.

Each session begins with a brief conversation to discuss your main concern. During your initial appointment, we’ll go more in-depth into your medical and lifestyle history to understand the context of your symptoms. I may also assess your breathing pattern, posture and movements to gather additional information about how your nervous system may be responding.
For the remainder of the session, you’ll lie (preferably) or sit comfortably while I use gentle muscle monitoring to identify areas where your nervous system may be out of balance. This helps uncover physical, emotional, and neurological imbalances that could be affecting your well-being.
Every session is uniquely tailored to your specific needs. I integrate a combination of modalities, to help regulate your nervous system. These safe, non-intrusive techniques may include:
Massage, fascia release, and acupressure
Stretching and movement facilitation
Breathwork and meditation
Energy work (chakra healing, Reiki, sound therapy)
Emotional processing and mindset work to release limiting beliefs and thought patterns
As we work, we may uncover stressors or emotional blockages that are contributing to your nervous system’s imbalance. By addressing these underlying factors, we help promote relaxation, restore balance, and support your body’s ability to heal itself.
After the session, I may provide you with homework to help integrate the work we've done and support your nervous system regulation. This may include exercises, stretching, breathwork, and lifestyle or nutritional suggestions.
The aim is for you to leave each session feeling deeply relaxed, with a clearer understanding of how your nervous system influences your health, and empowered to continue your healing journey.fascia and reflex points, hold acupressure points, facilitate stretching and movement, teach and guide you through breathwork and or meditation, incorporate energy work (chakra healing, reiki, colour therapy, sound therapy), utilise essences, essential oils etc all whilst discussing and breaking down any thought patterns, emotions, and limiting beliefs that may come to light throughout the session.
After your session i will provide you with some homework to assist with your processing and integration of the work you have done in session, this may include exercise, stretching, breathwork, nutritional and or lifestyle suggestions.
Ultimately the aim is for you to leave your sessions feeling completely relaxed, having obtained new insights into your individual situation, and feeling supported on your healing journey.

The number of sessions needed varies for each person, depending on whether we’re addressing an acute issue vs a more chronic one. Most conditions are quite complex and require multiple sessions to uncover the root cause.
I recommend a minimum of 6-8 sessions, spaced 2-4 weeks apart, to allow time for healing and integration.

Muscle monitoring uses a muscle, typically on your arm, as a tool to communicate with your body and assess the quality of information transfer between the muscle and your brain (biofeedback).
During this process, we observe changes in resistance or stress in the muscle in response to specific questions or stimuli. The clarity of the muscle's response provides valuable insight and information into your body’s needs.
This is a gentle, non-invasive technique where you simply match the practitioner’s light resistance. It is not a test of muscle strength.

Instant claiming is not available, however after your appointment, you will be provided with a receipt that you can submit directly to your health insurance provider for reimbursement.

A 50% fee will apply for cancellations or reschedules with less than 24 hours' notice. A 100% fee will apply for 'no shows’ or cancellations/reschedules with less than 12 hours' notice.
